Hehe, this pic is very special. I finally saw "Gravitation" and I love it^^
Then I saw this guy in the series...he´s called Ryuichi and he´s the best
It was like "OMG stop the DVD-Player, I have to draw him and cannot sleep until he´s ready"
Ryuichi is best described as an eccentric genius. He is the singer of a band called Nittle Grasper.
He takes his work and singing very seriously, so seriously he seems to change when involved in it.
When he is not, Ryuichi simply appears to be the happiest, silliest, most childlike person in Gravitation.
It is annoying to some, yet adorable to me.
Ok, I tried to make his eyes as shiny as in the series. He´s not easy to draw because he really often looks chibi, he sometimes looks serious and he ever wears other clothes...
But I´m relatively satisfied with that pic.
I love Gravitation - and Ryuichi! Great series, isn't it? And, this turned out awesome.
A little fun fact - Ryuichi, in the original Japanese version, is voiced by Yamaguchi Kappei - the same seiyuu who voices Inuyasha. Of course, they didn't let him sing the songs in the series (although he did sing one on one of the drama CD's - "Prediliction").
I've haven't seen much of Gravitation, but I like what I saw so far. My roomate last year was obsessed with it, but I transferred to another university and I don't get to talk to her about it anymore. Your picture makes me want to start watching again! ^_^
